"We went on our first tandem tour in 2014. Having bought our tandem from Pat and Lynn, it was only natural that we would take our first tandem tour with them - a two-week journey in Tuscany, Italy. We enjoyed that first trip so much that we joined them in France in 2015, and 2016 in southern Italy. Nothing compares with traveling through beautiful countrysides on a bicycle, and having another person on the bike with you is an added bonus. The key attributes that have made these trips so enjoyable for us are: the scenic routes that are beautiful and occasionally challenging, the camaraderie of our fellow cyclists, and the overall organization (accommodation, luggage management, route planning). Best of all, we have met a lot of wonderful people, and found a passion for the two-wheel lifestyle."

It's all about the details with them and even their co-guides when we have been in Europe. Quaint hotels, exceptional trails and side trips that include iconic and hidden gems, picturesque venues for group meals, like the centuries old wine cellar in Italy, great mechanical support, when Pat took the time to have a new chainring express mailed while we were on a trip so we could have a more pleasurable ride to name a few. "Having taken six trips with Lynn and Patrick, we have come to appreciate their excellent leadership, detailed organizational skills, choice of great bike routes, and sense of fun. "A vacation with Tandem Bicycle Tours is like no other! Lynn and Pat have perfected complete cycling escapes. It is not only the spectacular scenery of the Italian Dolomites, Liguria, Veneto, Tuscany, Umbria, and Elba Island; the historic French sites of Brittany and Normandy; and the apple orchards and maple syrup groves of picturesque Vermont that brings us to travel with TBT again and again. "We have been on four tandem bicycle trips to Europe with Tandem Bicycle Tours (two in France and two in Italy). Each tour was unique, and we enjoyed them all. We always found that everything was very well planned out ahead of time (i.e., transportation, hotels, luggage transfers, and bicycle routes). The hotels have all been very nice and comfortable (typically exceeding our expectations) and detailed route briefings were provided daily. In addition, GPSs were provided with all the maps downloaded and ready for us to use for the duration of the tour. Finding our way was never a problem, but it was always nice to know that help was only a phone call away. Another benefit of going on these trips was getting to cycle with other tandem teams. We have met some of the nicest people on these tours, some of which will be our lifelong friends."
